In November, 2015, member sakshi.rawal posted a thread -

This thread referenced an article on electronicdesign.com from 1998 (see www.electronicdesign.com/analog/effective-agc-amplifier-can-be-built-nominal-cost )
The ensuing discussion was very helpful, but the links to the circuit diagram (in both the forum post and the article) are broken - not found error.
Can someone point me to this circuit? I have attempted to find it using the "wayback machine" (archive.org) but have come up empty.
