@recca02.

I see you are not too far from Achanakmar. Have you ever seen the tigers there?
With a government like ours you don't need terrorists. But just to assure you, I am not a terrorist.

I am in Delhi now, left my job at the 'reported' location where i was busy for two years. Did not get time to go to Achanakmar (which incidentally is a homophone of Achanak Mar . which can mean "sudden death" in Hindi :D )

A much more efficient way of using solar is using a big field of mirrors, all targeted at a tower. I'm sure 1/4 of Nevada is empty anyway so why not?
new-mexico seems to be on their way:

and in in spain:

I remember seeing something that said that in order to power the country it would require a solar array the size of 1/4 of Nevada or something, but I don't remember for sure.
was it written in the 1960's by any chance?

but yeah. solar power needs a lot of work. the source is at least abundant.

gravity is also pretty abundant as a source of power... hydro-electric is the prime example but there are other approaches.

Generally Nuclear energy releases no greenhouse gasses and in comparison with solar energy, it's way cheaper I think. It also produces cheap electricity, Now a days France has the cheapest electricity in Europe and the get almost 80% of their electricity from nuclear power plants.
