I'm confused by how you would do the test described in this question. I know you would put one of the probes on the test point. But where do you put the other probe? The instructions say "between each test point and ground," but aren't there 2 grounds in the diagram? (I'm assuming the triangles are the grounds)

The two grounds are probably connected.

 

Using a triangle for gnd is a way of keeping schematics clean & simple. Unless they have a number next to them like 1, 2, etc, the grounds are meant to be common, connected together. Regards, Kamran Kazem.
