How does the "sent messages" in pm work?

Shows empty.
Sent a test pm. Still empty.

I think it did this before and then they came back.

Went to another forum just in case I'm having a brain ****. OK there!

 

You have set 'save message' before sending.

Two things come to mind.

First, I think that if the recipient hasn't opened the message yet, the message stays in your outbox for you to edit, instead of the Sent Items folder. But there is also a chance I am confusing this feature with the one phpBB has.

Other than that, make sure that the option to save the Sent Items is enabled in your profile. It's in the Settings and Options, Edit Options screen.
