Hi All a little help / guidance please, trying to specify x 3 sensors for a automatic car wash

Sensor 1 - detects car approaching the side brushes and start motors which drive the spray pump and the top / side brushes
Sensor 2 - a safety device and is located at a high point in the bay. If a high vehicle gets within 5cm of the sensor the warning lights come on and all equipment shuts down
Senosr 3 - located within the detergent resovoir. When resovoir is a 1/4 full a warning light in the control office is illuminated.

Any ideas where to start all im finding are american sites

Thanks in advance

Have you gone to a car wash to see how everybody else does it?

I think there is no point in coming to a high-tech electronics site when most of the sensing is done with a rod attached to a switch.

As per post #2 by #12 sensors 1 & 2 could be rod actuated Proximity switches making them relatively water proof.
3. could be a simple float switch.
If this is a complete installation rather than a add-on, you could use a small PLC or Smart Relay for controller.

P.S. I see by your other thread you are using a PLC!
Max.
