Obviously they have a workable system. As memory and resolution improves the cubes may take on more details and attributes. One important feature (good and bad) is that this data can be shared. Good in that other vehicles can learn quickly. Bad, perhaps, in that this data can be stolen.

The data can be encrypted? Like cell phone data?
