I wanted to Ask about SDR and HDR?

I know HDR has a Wider Range of Color Detail and Contrast Ratio.

And this is used for 180 HD and 4. K HD to give a good Picture.

Now SDR came out first but what id SDR do or what was this for?

Thank you for getting back to me.

Now from what I Read HDR is the same as HDR 10 and now they have HDR Plus.

And they Say HDR will make the Color and the Image Look more like the way it was Filmed.
So you always See HDR with 4. K but am I Right you can have a None HD TV you can have a 720 HD TV you can have a 1080 HD TV and still use HDR?

Because it only helps the Picture Look more like the way it was Filmed?

Hello,

Did you see this passage:
HDR can be displayed over an HDMI 2.0 and DisplayPort 1.3. If your GPU has either of these ports then it should be capable of displaying HDR content.
As a rule of thumb, all Nvidia 9xx series GPU’s and newer have an HDMI 2.0 port, as do all AMD cards from 2016 onward.

The GPU is of influence if HDR can be displayed.

Thanks for the Topic for me to Read.

So now I know HDR will help the Image Look more like how it was Filmed.
And it will help the Light and Dark Parts of an Image.

So if you do not have HDR Video you can not use HDR to help the Image on the TV am I Right?
