Hello everyone,

I have read that a Software Defined Network is helpful to create a robust IoT-System because it has the ability to allocate network ressources where they are actually needed.
I am asking myself now: when is a SDN-Approach really beneficial because I have read that it is beneficial for IoT-Systems with many microservices. Would you recommend using a SDN also for an IoT Use Case, where I am running an App-Application with many features and there are many users (approximately over 400 App-Users) from different locations all around the globe?
Thanks so far for all your contributions!

Yours sincerely

Is this a school project?
No it is not for a school project. I would like to know when SDN for IoT-Systems represents a beneficial networking strategy. Ideally you could say that this approach if it has to be implmented is going to be implemented in a business context rather than for a school project.
