The type of terminals you need will depend on what sort of wires for what voltage you run to the box.And if that goofy site did not ask about that initially, how can it know??

 

What are you exactly tryng to achieve??
Also, what is the purpose of the unit?
How many terminals are involved and what are they feeding??
There are several slick ways of setting up a termination point.

The Lisse 2-gang blank plate fits the CYB-D40 box. You must add screw pillars (part 5961505) to mount it.
Without them, the plate has nowhere to screw in. Each box needs two screw pillars, one top and bottom.
They snap into the D40 and take the plate’s screws. Buy extra if using two single modules instead. The 5961505 pillars may be discontinued but still sold. Buy from a reliable distributor or online supplier. Once fitted, your plate and box will align perfectly.

You can use D30. It’s shallower than the D40 version. You’ll have less internal depth for wiring and mounting. Using the D30 doesn’t automatically eliminate the need for screw pillars. The faceplate still needs something solid to screw into. If the D30 box is supplied without internal screw pillars, you’d still need them (or a compatible alternative) to mount the plate securely. You need a a surround/plate is what covers the box front. You will need a compatible surround/plate that matches the back-box size. If the D30 box fits the Lisse White Moulded, Double Socket Surround, 2 Gangs surround size (2-gang, same front dimensions) then yes you can use it.

Yes. The Thorsman CYB‑D30 double mounting box (ref 5961005) is listed as coming with two M3 screw pillars (“2 kruvisambad M3”) built‑in.

Regarding the surround, check the dimension. I cannot exactly understand the dismension from the pic.
