What function does it serve in the circuit?

Switching regulator?

This is the only photo I could find with no other information except references to dual rectifiers in 3-pin packages.

Function is sketchy.
I am curious, as there are 5 pins. Nothing to do with repairing yet
This thing is found in a plasma TV scanning drive PCB. Y SUS Drive.

I was removing a heatsink and plenty of these were mounted on it. Since a it has 5 pin, made me want to find out what component this is, that's all. May be I can use it in future if I know what it does.
