Hi all,
I bought an E14 candle bulb socket holder off ebay and noted that the spacing between live and neutral is about 0.1" or 2.5mm.
Seems too close? I'm thinking of covering up the screw and the base of the C shaped metallic casing with hot melt to act as an insulation barrier. Any idea if this helps or makes it worse off?
It is my assumption that hot melt is a good insulator.
Or I'm better off leaving it as it is and the spacing is more than enough for safety.
Assumed environment is 30 degrees C, 86F. Humidity 90%, 230V AC supply.
Thanks.
