hi all, can some body tell me any standard which says to put rubber mats in electrical substation rooms. the motive is whether the mats are required to be there in substation rooms or not. kindly share the standard if it exists.

 

It depends on whether any regulation exist locally by the controlling body.
Generally the only one I know of is to ensure the use of extension lever and hand protection (Heavy rubber gloves) to operate a sub station mechanical disconnect.
