Do you consider it would be a problem (signal corruption or something else) with the signal from device A to device B as long as the M2 is switched off ? Please find attached the schematic.

With "switched off" I mean it will not be powered.
M2 is an analog multiplexer.

if it has protection diodes to the supply pins from inputs or outputs then there may well be a problem.

If a chip has protection diodes like the diagram below which is very common, then if the chip is not powered and there is an input, the input voltage can pass through the upper diode to the chip supply pin and inadvertently power the chip.

In your circuit arrangement, the unpowered chip may be powered in this way and so its output can affect the signal from the powered chip.

Yes, if the disable sets the output to high impedance or tristse then all will be well.
