Root locus, how to find natural frequency?

    I have a system for 'pitch control', I have to estimate the rise time, settling time , peak time etc at 20% overshoot. I'm using the trig relationships below:
    • I've found damping ratio (Zeta) & the angle of nayural frequency (Theta).
    • I need to find the length of the hypotenuse which equates to natural frequency (Omega).
    • Obviously I need the length of either the 'adjacent' or 'opposite', how do I find the value for these?
