I'm watching a history channel research done by 2 brothers stone masons. It's a very compelling story they are able to weave together. Worth Watching.

We have another old mystery just a few miles east of here. It's called the Beale Treasure or Beale Papers/Cypher.

People come from all over with metal detectors, shovels and even trailered backhoes looking for it.

Now the second episode cascaded, into the first. Suddenly I realize I was led down a road of ends without ends.

Midway it just loops.

That history episode is several years old. I think I remember Nat Geo had one earlier this year with some new findings. There are also lot's of old Indian capture/escape stories coming back and popular too.

I seen the first Episode a while back, but got into it before the next one.

The Episode after that one is "Return to Roanoke" yes, there is a lady who is familiar with Indian Legends adds to the story saying they my have been slaves working for the Indian copper mines, Smith continued his quest but the captives were constantly moved as Smith closed in.

They found that the original stone which was carved, was quarts found in analysis, this led to the idea that the seven individuals were used to mine copper because the quarts apparently is heaved upward above ground and copper is within the veins they followed.
