I am not sure what is my next project going to be about but talking about RFID readers I have a question.
I look at the web and I find that some projects use the EM-18 reader

However this reader is not available in the shops I usually buy my parts, and I can't find any place here in Japan where to buy it. Is this reader that rare? (I only found places in India where they sell it)
In one of the shops I found the Parallax RFID reader
https://www.parallax.com/product/28140 (which does not have a part number,....)
Anyway, do any of you have any experience with these (or others) RFID readers?
And do each reader only work with a special kind of tags??
