Hello! Although using vhf transceivers isn't something new to me, I'm trying to get a little bit deeper into radio amateur things. So I decided to make my first VHF preamp in order to start listening to more stations than those my receiver can capture right now by itself. I found an excellent wideband preamp, specifically this one:
PreAmp
But I have a major problem. I don't know anything about grounding techniques. I mean as I see it, there are three grounds there. The DC ground that goes to the power supply, the input ground and the output ground. And then, there is the chassis where BNCs are attached to it. Doesn't that make an input-output ground connection by itself? I'm a little bit confused here...Any help would be much appreciated!
