Rewiring a drill motor to have forward/reverse and speed contol

That is 5.9vdc @350ma.
A little light on the current rating, do you have an ammeter to check the motor current?

nope i have a volt meter thats about it, and i only know how to check continuity, when i remember how to set it properly lol. I am going to look for a wall wart and hope for the best.

Have a problem..i wired everything and when I plugged it in, the motor started without switching it on...I have it wired as such. 1. crossing circuit to 6 - 2 crossing circuit 5. 3 posivite from power cord and positive from motor, then 4 negative from power cord and negative from motor...hope this explains it, what did I do wrong?

If you are wiring the switch it has to be different for this motor. Ref post #11.
Take the power to the centre terminal of each side: power to 2 & 5, motor to 3 & 4, wire a jumper from 1 to 4 and jumper from 3 to 6.
