Retrofit FM radio with DAB+

Like many people in Switzerland, I own a Swiss made GenevaLab radio that features DAB, but not DAB+ and, hence, will become obsolete by the end of the year when our not so smart authorities will discontinue FM broadcasting.

The S(mall) model I have just has 3 things at the back: jack line in, antenna connector, power plug (see image).

On top of that, like many Swiss, the radio is in a second home chalet with no wi-fi (cliché, I know) and it doesn't have bluetooth either.

I'm looking for a solution that wouldn't require opening the device and/or soldering any cable. Something that would connect a DAB+ receiver either to the line in or the antenna connector.

I'm surprised how few options there are out there when one considers that millions of people in Europe will face the same problem these next years and some folks bought the L, XL or XXL versions of this high-end brand for several grands.

Any advice?

Thanks

The answer is NO.
You can, of course, get a DAB+ Receiver, modulate the output it to DAB and feed it to the receiver on hand.
But, then, your problem gets solved with the first part. :)

Thanks. That's what last night taught me: I think the best option is to get a DAB+ radio such as the Roberts Petite 2 and connect the headphones jack to the GenevaLab line in, which indeed, doesn't make much sense, as even the sound may be better on the Roberts.

Does anyone know if the output from the headphones jack would have enough power to feed the line in of the GenevaLab?

Thanks

Earphone Outputs are Heavy enough to Overload any Line Input.
