What is the resultant Q of two cascaded bandpass filters? Is the product of the Q’s of each stage?
Before anyone asks, I am using a pair of MFB opamp bandpass filters with the exact same Fc, but different Q.
Both stages have been designed and tested, and work fine for the voltage and frequency range.
What I ignore is the formula to calculate the Q of the cascaded stages.

 

The Q of a bandpass filter will be affected by the load presented by a following stage. IMHO, the best way to estimate the total Q would be simulation.
