Hi,
I'm a complete newbie here and I'm hoping somebody can help me with the basic but tricky task of resoldering/reattaching a microusb that has become detached from its hard drive. I think the actual piece it's connected to is some kind of breakout controller board with a load of encryption/decryption stuff that means you can't use any other breakout board with it. Hence my attempt to try to reconnect, before going out and buying another HD that whose board may not work with my drive.
The connections are very, very small, and I'm wondering, is it better to try to solder a bunch of wires between the board and the microusb, rather than try to solder the microusb back to the board? How would people here do it?
Thank you in advance for any tips,
Steve.
