why do gates such as "material non-implication" not have diagrams? is it because they are constructed physically out of NAND, OR, XOR gates? or is it just that it is unnecessary to represent them this way?
I had to look up "material non-implication" and its truth table. My guess is that (1) the person using "material non-implication" wanted to show off, or (2) the logic, rather than the signal, was what was being concentrated upon, or (3) the person was unfamiliar with the logic gate representation.why do gates such as "material non-implication" not have diagrams? is it because they are constructed physically out of NAND, OR, XOR gates? or is it just that it is unnecessary to represent them this way?
