Removing current from pulse signals.

Is there any way to move the current from a pulse signal to another direction and keep just voltage going on the output? Say....2 diodes opposite to each other and and LED which takes the current instead? Im not sure if this works, but I saw someone doing something similar with diodes and an LED to take the current away from the output and keep just voltage going through.

- Does current always have to be along with voltage in order for any circuitry to work?

- Any tricks to keep current at 0? Does this depend on what the circuitry is?

I don't think so. If the current through a device is reduced to zero, the voltage drop across the device is also reduced to zero. Where did you get such fanciful notions?
