Rebuilding a honda Electronic Control Module

Hey guys, i have an ambitious idea. I have an old Honda control module that i pulled out my car and replaced with a new one. in a electrical test probing pin 14 and 15 at the connector (see pic), it gave me super high resistance, out of range of the spec. so i had to replace the Ecm or the wiring. went the Ecm route, problem went away. My question is, with the problem being the computer, does anyone know or have an idea of the component(s) that went bad on the board, or is it possible to find the bad parts with a board schematic. Ive seen people on youtube actually fix honda boards so i know its possible.

Pins 14,15 are the CYP sensor, whatever that is,, looks like a pickup coil of some type...
Oh, shoot, im sorry for not giving enough information. The CYP sensor is the part that i had replaced, which is under the hood, not on the ecm. The pic above is not the ecm itself but all the connections via the main wiring. sorry for not clarifying
