90 is a hearty old age. And still most of us would want people like him to live up to a 100. May he rest in peace.

Ah, 1962 ... Dr. No. As a young Californian going to college in Baltimore, an upperclassman invited me to the first movie I had seen since West Side Story at Grauman's (LA). It was the first movie I had gone to without my older brother as a chaperone. Despite my age, for some reason, my mom didn't trust me. 3,000 miles made a difference. That was the beginning of many, wonderful years on the East coast.
