hi folks !

Nowadays im building a ac/dc full bridge rectifier. As you know , after the full brüdge rectifier , for increase ripple voltage im using couple of elect. capacitor. Still there are some ripple factor on my dc voltage. I should usr more capacitor on it but i dont have enough.
My main ac voltage is single phase and 220v (rms) 50hz. The problem is my capacitors are 200v. I need 400v capacitor i know but idont have.
Is there any method to use 200v capacitor rather than 400v capacitors ??
And secondly , can those capacitors limits current ??

Thanks QwQ.

You can put capacitors in series ... suppose you have Two 200V @ 200uF each ... wired in series will give you One cap ..400V @ 100uF .

If electrolytic you must connect +ve of one cap to the -ve of the other .
