i am facing a problem with pwm controller using pic. the pic gets hanged when interfaced to motor, otherwise the pwm pulses are generated and other peripherals work fine. can any one help to resolve this problem.

Hello,

Do you have decoupling capacitors accross the powersupply lines of the chips?
Each chip should have a capacitor of 0.1 uF accross the +Vcc and GND connections as close as possible to those connections.
Do you have a diode accross the motor to suppress the inductive kickback?
This diode should have the kathode to the + powersupply.

Greetings,
Bertus

Provide a schematic of your circuit so that we can see what other areas present in your circuit that may be sensitive to the electrical interference that is being generated by the motor.

Need more information, as others stated.

How long are the leads to the motor? Is the motor/driver on a separate power supply than the uC?
