Good call n9352527. The issue here may be pronunciation.I read a book where this was on. He was a german, wasn't he?
Nook this one seems tough bcoz in this one i cant even make a wild guess.
abt Germany i only know abt cars, arnie, and gestapo, hitler, panzer, bismark and nazi (all ww stuff)
so the only wild guess i can make is:
hitler shot the man while riding his Mercedes and the man cried help
(can that translate to elf?)
Isn't it 'Ja'?! 'Yeah' is lax English.i know a lil japanese,
only german word i know is "yeah"
'Elf' doesn't solve the crime but give information about the crime.well i searched the net for German version of elves and came across succubus and incubus (and i thought elves are cute) and something like alb... and something related to nightmare.
cant help but think it was the work of some blood sucking monster!
after this i m throwing in the towel.
Not in the US Navy, we didn't! We learned to order beer and ask where the bathroom was!! "Ein Beer, bitte," and "Wo das Badezimmer ist?"What I would say is that when you first learn a new language you learn firstly the alphabet, secondly how to count, thirdly how to greet someone, and fourthly how to describe how many pets, brother/sistors, and where you are going on holiday!
Ok, so some elements of a language are more important than others - your German education was more appropriate than mine! Not in the US Navy, we didn't! We learned to order beer and ask where the bathroom was!! "Ein Beer, bitte," and "Wo das Badezimmer ist?"
Elf Weeter Zain for now.
Think that trains have several carriages, and 'elf' means?armistice treaty???
