Ok, I have some situational conundrums and I though I would start a thread to see if anyone can a bit of common sense to find an answer. I have plenty to go through, so I'm sure we'll get bored before I run out! Have a guess, and as soon as a correct answer is given we'll move onto the next.
So here we go:
A man lives on the tenth floor of an apartment building. Every morning he takes the elevator down to the lobby and leaves the building. In the evening, he gets into the elevator, and, if there is someone else in the elevator, or if it was raining that day, he goes back to his floor directly. However, if there is nobody else in the elevator or it hasn't rained, he goes to the eighth floor and walks up two flights of stairs to his room. Why?
