Hi, I removed a faulty psu board from a sauna control unit. On inspection I can see that the power transistors are both seriously cracked and the fuse is blown. I’ve started diagnostics but thinking it may be more cost effective for my customer to replace the board or find an alternative. Has anyone had experience with this board and would be able to advise me please.
Thanks in advance, Darren

That's a Switchmode psu, the transistors are probably Mosfets, the chip is probably a TL494, and other components are possibly blown like the bridge rectifier, these psus are a PAIN! to repair.

Easier to bin it and get a replacement.

Thanks for your reply. Yes that’s right, my thoughts exactly. Do you have any information as to where I can get a replacement, I seem to be drawing a blank.
Kind Regards, Darren
