Line from (x1,y1) to (x2,y2)
x = x1 + u(x2 - x1)
y = y1 + u(y2 - y1)

Can some body plz guide me how we got the above two eq.

But think about what happens if x2 = x1; what is x? in the first equation?

similarly if y2 = y1; what is y in the second equation?

We've been through this more than once already!

What is x and y if u=0?

What is x and y if u=1?

These are both linear equations. If two parametric linear equations go through two points, then they describe the line that connects those two points.
