hi!
i m trying to read adc574 through pic.and whatever i get from adc i print it on hyperterminal. but the only thing that gets printed on my hyperterminal is "-1". i m unable to figure out the problem.
any help is acknowledged.

 

Have you been able to find whaich part of the system is not working? Does the PIC read the ADC?

 

i think my pic is working fine. it is communicating with pc through hyperterminal. but i m not sure if pic is communicating right with adc. for twelve bit adc i get value "fff" printed on pc no matter what the input voltage is.

 

It sounds like the ADC has not been initialized and/or enabled. Can you post a schematic and source code?
