Hello, every one i would like to know what will happen if you mistakenly put a 12vAC to a 12vDC circuit.

 

Chances are the circuit will be destroyed.

 

+1, unless its got an input diode or full bridge, Boom!

 

The 12Vdc circuit only allow the current flows through from one direction, but the 12Vac providing a bi-direction current, will it blow up the EE parts, it depends on do the parts can be bear the reverse voltages or not.

 

If you are Lucky, no damage might happen. Feed the correct voltage and test.
