I have a mini project about the conception of a power supply 0-20 V 1A , i found a diode in the circuit i wanted to make , but i couldn't understand its meaning , all what i could found is that it was inversed by the conceptor , so any one can help me ?!! i don't have much time.

Why bother with a discrete design? Do you need adjust to 0V or do you just want it?
