I'm working on an Arduino design that uses a separate 5V power supply for peripherals. During development the Arduino is powered by USB and isolated from the other supply by a jumper, but when development is done it will be powered by the external supply, too (via the jumper).
What would happen if I forgot to take the jumper off and both the USB and the externsl supply were connected to the 5V rail simultaneously? Assume they're within .25V of each other.
