Hello,

I am measuring the Output voltage of my power supply which is as it says 13.8V DC. The problem is that my volt-meter shows a value close to 45.5V DC. Can someone explain me why is that?

you mean to connect a load at the output and measure the Vout again ?

Some power supplies can read high when not loaded, so place a 100R thru 1k on the output and remeasure Vout.
