If a coil with a .2 lagging power factor is placed in series with a 300 watt 120 volt incandescant lamp to allow it to run from a 208 volt 60 Hz power supply, what is the voltage across the coil terminals? I'm having trouble drawing the right power triangle to solve this. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Treat the lamp as a purely resistive load, unity power factor.

There will be a voltage drop across the resistive load, how do you calculate the drop across the inductive load?
