There seems to be s bit of confusion here. The device is apparently powered by an AC line cord (at 600W), and the port is an OUTPUT.

The TS seems to think the port is an INPUT to power the warmer, it is not. The photos show it being used to charge a phone.

In the "photo" it certainly looks like the hand is holding a USB connector. The mention of mains power must have been hidden from many of us. BUT "Y" does have a great deal of ability to spot things and know stuff. I came to that conclusion quite a while ago. So it seems that we missed the mention of power and supply voltage.

Modern phones can charge over the USB port using higher voltages, current and power than the standard 5V. 18W is the minimum for a "fast charger" and most are more like 50W or more.

BUT, to be useful, the phone and the charger need to both support the same protocol. As I understand it, and I certainly could be wrong, the two devices establish a handshake and only use a fast charge protocol if/when one can be agreed upon. If they can't agree, it all falls back to standard USB power.

I'm betting there's a good reason they don't mention iPhones in the ad. Slooooww.
