Hello, i'm working on a Matlab/Simulink model which is implement an sensorless control of PMSM for a wind power generation tubine. To connect the turnine with the generation, i have to know the rated values of speed and torque for the Permanent Magnet Generation. However, the only data i have for the machine are stator resistance,field inductance, number of poles, moment of inertia and flux linkage by magnets (these are all data that are must be known for the PMSM's block in Simulink). Is anybody know how i can find the nomimal working values for this machine ;

 

The maximum torque that you can get form the wind turbine for the specified wind speed can be used as a rated torque for the generator, while the rotor speed of the turbine at that torque is the rated speed of the gen.
