Hello Everyone,

Has anybody knows how calculated Iq could be reffered to current in AMPs.
I sense Ia and Ib ( resolution : 10 digit is 1A ) and then using Clarke and Park
I calculate Id,Iq.
Problem is that I want to have Ia and Ib limited to 135 A (1350 in digits) and because of that
I have to know how to limit Id,Iq in control loops.

See attached readings from motor. SuppCurr is supply current that was 4A ( 40 in digit).

Best regards,
Chris

I assume you know what value of Iq corresponds to 135 A current. PMSM is magnetized from permanent magnets so in practice Iq determines the phase current. On working FOC actual Iq is close to Iq reference. Just set maximum Iq reference limit to value that corresponds 135 A and you have good enough limitation for practical purposes.
