I was thinking about starting a pinned thread for people to show off the latest gear they find and buy ??

 

How about doing it in your blog or as a regular thread in Off-Topic? Why does it need to be pinned? Why would anyone want ot search though a stack of posts to see what others had bought, say a few years ago? It has not been long since AAC cleaned out a mass of pinned threads that were well past any usefulness and just took up space.
