A few weeks ago, while visiting my daughter in northern Italy, I took the opportunity to see the only "donna velatta" near Milan. It's located in Brescia, at the Vantiniano Cemetery.

Yep, the Iridaceae family of plants is one that has quite a few plants still in their native habitat. Always enjoy finding wild Irises.
