Hi, im looking to program a PIC16 in C.

Can anyone advice a simple yet effective C compiler with which I can do so. Prefererably if it is freeware, but i can obtain the license to most educational coftware packages through my university.

Any suggestions are much appreciated. Thanks

 

Why not use the designed for C PICs like the 18F series and C18 as there are several free versions.
