Hello,
I want to make a temperature-controlled stage for the Olympus IX73 microscope. I have attached an image of the sample holder that I need to put inside the temperature controller.
Therefore I need any help with the circuit design and the circuit component. Also, I am new in the community.
I really appreciate any help you can provide.

Very doable and I have done this before.
This would be my shopping list:

1) TEC1-12706 12V 60W thermo-electric cooler
2) Heat sink
3) 12VDC power supply, min 5A output
4) L298N H-bridge
5) Microcontroller, e.g. Arduino
6) 2 x 16 LCD Character display
7) Two push buttons for UP/DOWN temperature setting
8) thermistor or LM35 temperature sensor
9) 5VDC regulator

If you have access to water tap, I would recommend running water through copper tubing welded the heat sink. The fastest way to kill a TEC is to allow the junction to overheat.

MrChips, Thank you for your information. Do you have any photo of that kind of stage or circuit design of that stage?
If you have, kindly share that. That will be very helpful for me.
