I have been searching and using this in various forms to find what is connected to what pin for an hour now and I’m getting nowhere. Lots of pics, dimensions, places to buy, etc but no connection information

Gratitude! I assume this represents the pins when looking at the bottom…

Admittedly I’m not usually stumped when I look for things. Shouldn’t be that hard. Thank You

 

You want to make sure what was posted matches the exact part that you're using. The safest approach is to get the datasheet for the exact part number that you purchased. That will tell you what goes where for that specific part. The pin locations inside the plug part of the connector are standard per the USB spec, but the arrangement of the pins that go through the PCB are not specified in the spec and could vary between parts.
