Hello guys! I am a beginner at this kind of knowledge...
I am a student working on a project to increase efficiency and power of battery maintenance device.
So, this device contains dc/dc converter (2-switch forward converter). The frequency is 83kHz for now, but to increase total power, frequency will be increased to 100kHz.
So, my project is to develop high frequency transformer using litz wire and compare it with existing transformer without litz wire.
Which parameters are important to be compared?
I mean, the result must be like "transformer with litz wire VS transformer with no litz wire".

 

The most important parameter is the input to output efficiency of the converter with the standard transformer compared to the onverter with the litz wire transformer, all else being the same.
