Hello everyone,
I want 16MHz clock signal. when i am using parallel resonance circuit i am getting sine wave. Which oscillates in negative as well.Is this the same output waveform for the crystal oscillator. And i am using 60MHz oscilloscope. Please let me know the answer.

Please post the schematic of the circuit you are using otherwise we are just guessing.

 

A sine wave at the quartz crystal is not unusual.

Is your oscilloscope INPUT CHANNEL COUPLING set to DC or AC?

What is the part number of the inverting gate?
What is the make and model of your oscilloscope?
What is the make and model of the oscilloscope probe?
Is the probe set to X1 or X10?
