Panasonic AQV254H

I could use some help in modeling the Panasonic AQV254H. I will be looking through posted libraries to begin to understand. Any help or guidance to an newbie at new model creation would be very appreciated.

What I got from the data sheet is that the input current to switch fully on is 50 mA, for the load current of 150 mA. So what is the purpose of modeling the device?? What is the application??
