Has anyone used the automatic re-calibration of the OSCCAL of the internal osc. in say the 12f675, apparently Pickit2 will do this automatically and re-write it to the pic.
Does Pickit 3 do this? If so what is the procedure?

No, only PICKIT2 can do this.

If you use PicKit3 with MPLABX there are a couple of XC8 linker options

Calibrate Oscillator: (yes/no)
Alternate oscillator calibration value: (0x3400 is default)

I don't know they work because I haven't used them before.
