Despite your political inclinations, this You Tube shows people have too much time on their hands. My German is very old and rusty, but the translation seem more than a little off. Any experts out there?

Been witnessing the same sort of gloom on Communofascist BBC radio this week. America will revert back to the world’s bogyman overnight; no doubt they will have to re-hang the picture in their newsroom of the President of the USA with the caption “Hail to the Thief.”They are doing their best to vilify the TEA party in their normal “unbiased” way.

 

It seems we have some opinions,do you have a job or pension.
I watch the build It bigger program, a lot British Isles jobs. Are
the brits happy.

 

Loosewire- I retired a year ago, but was kept on part time, 20 hours per week max. I stopped going after six months because there was no work. The UK has slipped down to 26th in the league of happy countries. I would guess that 80% of the population are against membership of the European Union, I am sure I can’t see any advantages for the UK in membership. This is only a small country it could be lost in one of your great lakes, the bulk of the population are alarmed that the government allows 500, 000 immigrants into the UK each year. Some places have 60% of people reliant on welfare. Another bone of contention is that foreign aid is being increased while cuts in public spending are made; 500,000 public sector jobs are to be axed. Not that any of this bothers the government, but then they have relinquished over 80% of their powers to unelected bureaucrat in Brussels. It’s April fool’s day three times a week here; I could write a book about it, but I have to look out for the thought police.

A Democratic Republic will only survive until the population realizes they can vote themselves money from the public treasury.

The US is close to having 50% of the population either employed by a state or federal government, or living on government programs. Once that 50% is crossed, it becomes a Socialist republic.

I see the US currently as being about where the UK was in the 1980's. Oddly, nobody learns from history, even extremely recent history such as the fall of the soviet union.

 

With all the races for election near 50-50 you have a point.

Lawyers writing ungodly amounts of laws that only a lawyer could understand, AND getting to vote yourself a pay increase.

Fix that and we are half way home again.

 

I keep suggesting that a law degree Is a Important
part of full education . Human resource will think
twice before messing with your employment. The
same If you are self employed,lawyers write all the
bills that congress vote on. The lawyers were left out
of the health bill. Lawyers make the difference In close
elections. Once you are In,you can be there for life,
work out of house,do real estate and estates.
The rich have to share there money with lawyers.
Some lawyers can dangle near the bottom of the food
chain also.

 

Lawyers are the second oldest profession and share a lot with the first.

Yes, my brother is into that. Frankly, I fear a Constitutional Convention or revolution more than the Democrats. I think of beautiful countries like Cuba that had revolutions and the people are still suffering almost 50 years later.
